NextSun Energy is a solar development and management firm that specializes in the development, finance and asset management of distributed Solar PV. Operating out of Boston, Massachusetts, we currently have projects totaling over 20 MW in various stages of development throughout New England, New York, and Colorado.

It is our mission to deliver clean, renewable power to our clients at competitive rates. By creating mutually beneficial partnerships, we are able to develop turn-key solutions for both public and private landowners, electricity consumers, and our investors.

Landowners
At NextSun Energy, we develop solar systems typically ranging from 1 to 5 MW. In order to develop these systems, we partner with sites that maintain significant acreage available for development.

Electricity Consumers
We also create long-term power purchase opportunities for any entity that requires the long-term visibility of sustainable and affordable electricity at dependable rates. We look to municipal entities and other off-takers who have an interest in locking in electricity rates for years to come. We then enter into long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) that deliver guaranteed and non-volatile energy prices.

At NextSun Energy, our dedicated in-house team has backgrounds in all stages of solar engineering, construction, and project development. Our systems management team provides timely and accurate reporting to our clients through project performance analyses to ensure that our projects are functioning properly and are receiving routine preventative maintenance. Our asset management team handles the day-to-day control over facility level issues, insuring that all of our projects are maintained at the highest possible standard.
